When the Body Speaks Before We’re Ready to Listen..

I’ve learned that the body always knows when a transition has begun, even when the mind is still trying to stay in control. Uncertainty first shows up in the body! a tight chest, a restless heartbeat,a quiet sense that something is shifting before we can name it. Yes, the in-between can be heavy, sometimes unbearably so. It presses on the chest, fills the mind with fear, and takes us right to the edge of what we can hold. But that edge — that threshold — changes everything.Because once we reach it, something real begins. We stop pretending we’re fine. We start paying attention to what our body has been trying to say all along. We rest when we’re tired. We speak when something matters. We stop pushing to be who we were, and begin learning how to live with who we are now. After that, life doesn’t go back to what it was before. It feels quieter, clearer — as if something inside has finally taken the lead.
